The Lean-Ox Festival is Cook County, Georgia's longest running festival. The festival is hosted every year on the 3rd weekend of November. Our mission, as a committee, is to help with the beautification & maintaining of Lenox, Georgia. Hosting this festival each year since 1980 has help build friendships with travelers from all over the Eastern part of the United States.​

Chair Lady & Vendor Coordinator
​​Jennifer Chambers
Jennifer joined the festival in August 2010. Since then she has gradually worked
her way up in the committee. She started out as the committee secretary, to vendor coordinator, until present, Chair Lady & Vendor Coordinator. She is a hard worker & a strong believer in small communities. ​

Chase Daughtrey
Chase has been with the committee for several years. He is also the probate judge of Cook County, Georgia. Chase plays the led role in speaking for the festival. We appreciate Chase's work & dedication to our festival & community.
Treasurer & Ad Sales Coordinator
Lillian McClelland
Lillian joined the committee several years ago. She helps year round with ad sales for the festival. She is a firm believer in maintaining a strong community. Mrs. Lillian also serves as a City of Lenox Council Woman. ​

Carlton has been with the Lean-Ox Festival since the beginning. He takes charge of the HUGE parade that we have each year that has been a great success and so wonderful to see.​​

Angie Giddens

Angie does a LOT of behind the scenes work along with her daughter, Jennifer (chair-lady) These two gals travel to different events throughout the year speaking to vendors with unique items and inviting them to the Lean-Ox Festival. Angie also helps with the decorations at Christmas & the Christmas in the park event that is held each year in downtown Lenox.

Pat Boatner
​Pat is one of our newer committee members. She teams up with Lillian for the ad sales. The ad sales plays a large role in financing the Lean-Ox Festival.

Patrick Stafford
​Patrick helps with the parade lineup, electrical needs for the vendors the day of the festival, the clean-up process after the festival, as well as any other maintenance that the festival needs. Patrick is also one of the City Of Lenox maintenance employees.

​Richard has been a great addition to our festival family. Richard helps with the festival parade line up as well as helping with decorations at Christmas.​

Cass Boatner
Cass joined the festival committee this past year. He has been a great addition to our committee. This year he is taking on a larger role in the festival. All entertainment taking place at the festival will be booked by this guy ! Choose wisely Cass..... choose wisely.
